There is no reason I can think of that webwork would cause this behavior. My guess is that you have the correct password saved in the browser on the computer on which you can log in, but are typing in the wrong password on the other computer.
If you are using firefox, you can view saved passwords by going to
Edit -> Prefernces -> Security -> Saved Passwords -> Show Passwords
Alternatively, you could log in on the one computer, change your password in webwork, and then use that password to log in on the other computer.
