I was wondering if WeBWorK supports sending authenticated e-mail to an outgoing SMTP server. I'm running WeBWorK 2.5.0 on Fedora 15, and I'm sending mail to a mail server with STARTTLS (SMTP Service Extension for Secure SMTP over TLS).

I don't know if anyone has tested the patch posted in the bug report besides the author.
