Cost of WebWork on Amazon

Does anyone have any estimates about the cost of running WebWork on Amazon? On the Amazon site there is something to the effect that after the trial period it costs "6 cents per hour of actual use".  What does that mean? How does one budget for such an operation?

I was wondering this same question.  I decided that this is what I would use the 1 year free trial to gauge.  That is, run as many courses as possible on the server and presumably the system would report statistics of overall usage.  I'd hope you could relate this to the intensity of usage by different classes.

On a technical side, I presume that "6 cents per hour of actual use" refers to system time required to service the page requests.  However, I would hope this is the upper bound: 1 year at 365 days at 24 hours = $525.60.

Here is a screenshot of part of bill for May.
They are talking about 24 x 31 = 744 hours.

They waived the $0.02 for 232,250 I/O requests.
In all fairness - seems hard to count!

Hi: How many students were using the system that month? I´m curious how many students generate that amount of activity on the server. Thanks.
