Is this on purpose or a bug? Are there any issues with allowing write permission for the wwdata group?
This often causes problems. For example scripts like delcourse fail beacuse it runs as wwadmin and can't delete the course directory structure. It also makes it harder to transfer pickled courses from one server to another if apache is not running under the same user.
I am on version 2.13 but this also happens at 2.12.
