Students can change Gateway/Quiz answers

Hello:

I have a new problem, which didn't happen before the latest WeBWorK upgrade.

In a gateway/quiz, I set "Number of Tests per Time Interval (0=infty)" to 2, so students can take each quiz twice.

After a student's first try, I allow them to see answers and solutions in their first attempt, learn from mistakes, before trying a second time.

However, now a student can open a quiz attempt he/she took earlier, and fix the answers in the opened attempt (not a new try of the quiz), and then the quiz score would change! In other words, all students will get 100% in quizzes after they fix their mistakes in an attempt.

Which settings should I change to stop this from happening? I still want to give students two tries, though.

Thank you for help!

Did you set "Number of Graded Submissions per Test" to 1? I believe the default is 0 which allows for multiple grading.

From the documentation:
  • Number of Graded Submissions Per Test: the number of times a student may submit each version of the assignment for a grade.

That's what I need to change. I tested and it works correctly now. Thank you!
