Process for Contrib Problems?

Hi Everyone,

What is the process for problems submitted to the Contrib library? Are they eventually moved to the main Open library? What determines whether they are moved.

And what happens to problem sets when a problem is moved from Contrib to the main library? Is it correct that such problem won't work until the contrib part of the url has been removed...?

Sincerely,
Lars.

The process is somewhat disrupted by the fact that the grants for the editorial board meetings/workshop no longer exist (and haven't for 4 or more years).  TheWebworkProject (TWP) board has been working on alternate funding and rethinking how best to organize the editorial process of 'moving' things from Contrib  to the OPL.

One of the rules that Jeff Holt and John Jones established, which I think should be kept, is that nothing is ever removed from Contrib by the editorial board. (Contributors can remove or modify their own contributions.) This means that if the editorial board takes a problem from Contrib, moves it to the OPL with suitable (to them) modifications, the original is still available in Contrib for use by the contributor and his colleagues, in case they object to the modifications made by the board.
