It seems that WeBWorK will not let you see the solution of a problem prior to the due date, even if you are a professor. (Answers, on the other hand can be viewed any time, even prior to an opening date.) Am I mistaken or does anybody know how I can see the solutions at any time? I think it would be a useful feature for developing problems and as an aid in responding to students.

No, Professors can view the solution at any time. View the problem, check the show solution box and hit submit to see the problem with a solution. You should click the help button at the bottom for some technical info on how this works in typeset mode.

A technical point. Solutions (and answers) are not available to students until after the answer date (not the due date). Typically people set the answer date 24 hours after the due date, but they can be the same date.
