Is there a macro that allows us to use set functions? Union, Intersection, etc?

Thank you, -Barbra

Hi

For displaying set functions you can just use TeX. For example

BEGIN_TEXT
The union of two sets is written as
\[ A \cup B \]
END_TEXT

I don't think that any one has written an answer evaluator for checking a student answer which uses set notation. The first step is to determine what you would want the student to type in as a response. (I would think that you probably don't want them learning TeX notation, but I haven't thought hard about this.)

Hope this helps.

Take care,

Mike
