After upgrading to 1.8 printing doesn't work when the problem set contains graphics. I located the problem to the nosetpage option in png2eps. Printing seems to work when I take out this option. What exactly does this option do? Which files other than gif2eps and png2eps containd this option?

Lars.

Hi Lars,

Quoting from the WeBWorK 1.8 installation directions:

http://webhost.math.rochester.edu/webworkdocs/docs/install/readme.install

If you have difficulty displaying graphs look at the system dependent scripts gif2eps and png2eps in the .../webwork/system/scripts directory. Remove the -nosetpage switch which is required for some versions of pnmtops and invalid for other versions.

For further information, look at http://webhost.math.rochester.edu/webworkdocs/discuss/msgReader$1189 or more generally do a search for "nosetpage" .

gif2eps and png2eps are the only scripts that contain this switch. You probably have a pretty old version of pnmtops on your system.

Arnie
