Question Files Not Saving

Hello,

I ran into the following problem last night: if an edit is made to a question file and saved, once the file is re-accessed, the contents of the entire file is deleted. The files still exist, but they are empty.

I first noticed this error when I tried testing new edits. I received the following: 
ERROR: This problem file was empty
I have been editing problems for much of the summer and this issue has just arisen. I have a copy of the course as backup.

Have any changes been made to the server?

If not, the first thing I would check would be whether the disk is full. I could see this happening if there is not enough disk space to write the updated file.

Good idea, Danny. I reached out to the server administrator to see if anything shows on his end. I will update this thread if there is a server issue.
