default_achievements_items.axp file location

default_achievements_items.axp file location

Per http://webwork.maa.org/wiki/Achievement_Items#.WaMvHCiGM2w to use Achievement Items one must import default_achievements_items.axp. However, that webpage does not explain how to obtain that file. When I go the Achievements Editor and Import, default_achievements_items.axp does not appear in the dropdown list.

I have answered this question for myself. While I thought I had uploaded the tar files, I found that they had been uploaded to templates instead of achievements (due to the inability of WeBWorK to recognize the double click of my wacom stylus. I had forgotten from last semester that this is something I have to be careful of.)

One I had upload the tar files to achievements, I could import the default_achievement_items.axp file.

However, setting Achievement Items to True in Course Configuration made no change in whether the achievement items were available or not. I also had to manually edit the levels to change level_xxx_noitem.at to level_xxx.at.

Now, on to the challenge of adding challenge questions.
