Good morning, afternoon or evening wherever you are.

I just installed WW on RHEL and logging in as admin worked as it should.

No courses have been setup yet. I want to setup and check authentication first.

Do I have to create a course first then add users or can any users login without one using ldap?

When I changed it to enable LDAP and tried to log in as one of the accounts however, I get the following error message:

"Your authentication failed. Please try again. Please speak with your instructor if you need help."

When I log in as admin and enabled, ldap, it looks to be fine..

Do I need to create a course first and assign users to that course to check if ldap login for a user works?

Or can they just login and not "see" any courses, like Moodle?

Thanks

Lawrence

Oh I get it.. I was trying to login as LDAP USER to course admin but that must use "admin" right?

How can I check LDAP authentication for a user?
